BENCHMARKING
There are occasions, principally when recruiting or
promoting, when firms need to assess those who work
for them in order to develop a profile of the desirable
attributes of those in line for the role in question.
We fulfill this task by using a psychometric approach
to staff currently in post and by undertaking a job
analysis to identify the nature of the actual work
involved.
Evidence from these two sources may then be used to
provide the basis for the selection process, from
advertising to individual assessment. The system is
dynamic in that, where the job itself or the nature
of the incumbent may be subject to change, adjustments
can be made relatively easily within the process.
